Porth Dances and Sings (4 channel) 20 minutes duration; live and prerecorded voice + graphic score and projection Lawrence Upton; studio recording, prerecorded sound treatment and composition John Drever; first presentation 6 p.m. 24 November 2016, The Great Hall, Goldsmiths, University of London.

The scores are derived from photographs Upton has taken of the tombolo which cuts across the space between 2 islands (St Agnes & The Gugh).. The tombolo, the bar, is where the tide is between low and high, waves are rather constrained by the sides of this temporary porth. The work emphasises these elements. All the sounds are derived from Upton's voice on reading/naming the score.
