Abstract or Description

An investigation of ways in which our sense of the liveness and immediacy of theatrical performance is being redefined by recent developments in digital technology (including the simultaneous transmission of theatrical performances to cinemas) and the implications of these in relation to the training and development programs for theatre writers.
