Abstract or Description

As a composer working in the area of music/theatre and performance I have collaborated many times - usually with writers, directors, designers and performers. More recently I have collaborated with another composer, Kaffe Matthews, to combine her electronic sound and live processing with my own composition. This talk is about my experience of the collaborative process and in particular the way this recent project has blurred the traditional boundaries between notation and performance.
