In Gaelic it is An Cuan Siar (The Western Ocean) or An Cuan Mòr (simply The Great Sea).  The theme for Faclan 2016 is North Atlantic.  It defines the Islands and signifies vastness and isolation.  And to explore and navigate these ideas, we welcome acclaimed, award-winning writers: –
