Item Type:

Show/Exhibition
Creators: Norouzi, Minou
Abstract or Description:

Mainstream 2.1 presented a series of films that approach the documentary method as a creative, political, and philosophical means for art production. The films provided a sensory experience to draw in, charm, seduce and repel the spectator while commenting critically on the politics of image-making, performativity and spectatorship.

The programme featured works by Laure Prouvost, Margaret Salmon and Erica Scourti among others. It was an adaptation of an earlier presentation titled Wild Thinking that also included works by Luke Fowler and Harold Offeh.
