Abstract or Description

This chapter sets out a framework for thinking about gender equalities as a cultural artefact and process - something that has been made and must continually be reshaped and refashioned through stories and actions, big and small. Equality is best regarded as a provocation; that is, as posing questions about and naming systems of privilege that enable claims about rights, justice and obligations in and against those systems.
