'With its many intricate and well-worked parts, and its various stops and starts, O’Malley’s exhibition offers to the viewer spatial and perspectival relief from the many incidental moments, journeys and mealtimes lost to the nether world of smart-phone immersion, a reprieve from the nagging impulse to take or hoard pictures, of having devices to hand, in favour of a different sense of being present in and with the world.'
