Abstract or Description

A talk on the architecture of E.G. Trobridge, 1884-1942, one of three that formed the annual Swedenborg Birthday Meeting at Swedenborg House, London. The other talks were by Ken Worpole and Devin Zuber. Trobridge's built work is mostly domestic buildings, cottages and flats, many of which are located in the north-west suburbs of London. It is unusual in its technical as well as its spiritual thinking, and I showed in detail his first built work, a cottage and entrance for Camden Road New Church, which is now listed by Historic England as a result of my research into it.
