Abstract or Description

This chapter explores the transmedia dimensions of Raúl Ruiz's work, including his production of work for television, writing, video installation and engagement with folklore. It argues that while Ruiz freely engaged with a range of media, he remained committed to filmmaking as a popular art, even while exploring multiple other media and forms of expression.
