Abstract or Description

This is the project website for Staging Decadence: Decadent Theatre in the Long Twentieth Century, which is a two-year ECR Leadership Fellowship funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. The fellowship ran from 2020 until 2022, although the site remains an active forum for sharing new research and public engagement events linked to the study and promotion of theatre and decadence. The site hosts a feature-length documentary, a film archive, recordings of research seminars, links to a public engagement programme, and a blog featuring interviews with emerging and internationally-recognised artists as well as articles by scholars at all career levels from around the world.
