A published conversation between Barby Asante and Maria Rusinovskaya, former Curator of Public Programmes at Bergen Kunsthall. This conversation reflects on the development of Barby's ongoing project Declaration of Independence, with attention to the experience of developing an iteration of that project at Bergen Kunsthall.

This conversation was published in Time to Listen, Space to Experiment: Perspectives from Re-Imagine Europe 2017-2021. Re-Imagine Europe was a 4-year project involving 10 cultural organisations, responding to social and political challenges in Europe.
