Abstract or Description

This study investigates how consumer literacy influences responses to financial scarcity. Drawing on in-depth interviews with a purposive sample of 36 participants across four generational cohorts, findings reveal how consumer literacy differs across consumption experiences and generations. Our research extends theorisation of time-based responses to financial constraints.
