Abstract or Description

Slides from presentation on Open Access at Graduate Festival 2015, Goldsmiths. Open Access is defined as unrestricted access to scholarly research and is now seen as an integral stage of research. This session will outline the key areas of ‘Open Access’ and its relation to publication, research data, non-traditional outputs, theses and how it can help career development for graduates. It will also detail its importance to research funding and national auditing of research in exercises such as the, Research Evaluation Framework (REF); and how Goldsmiths Research Online and Goldsmiths Data Online can assist with making work Open Access
