Abstract or Description
Co-director of the 5th Derrida Today conference (with Nicole Anderson of Macquarie University, Sydney). 200+ international delegates, 5 international keynotes (Kelly Oliver [Vanderbilt]; Paul Patton [UNSW]; Paola Marrati [Harvard]; David Wills [Brown]; Julian Wolfreys [Portsmouth] ). The conference is entirely self-funded through fees which include a journal subscription.
Nicole Anderson is the lead editor of the affiliated EUP journal, Derrida Today, and co-hosts the conference with a different selected scholar in a different university every two years. As one of the four Assistant Editors of the journal, I was invited to co-host the 5th such conference and continue to be directly involved in subsequent conferences.
We published three of the keynotes in a special issue of the journal (issue 10.1, 2017):
