Abstract or Description

A bespoke tandem bicycle with built in cameras deployed prior to the demolition of the Calais 'Jungle'. The tandem generated new opportunities to understand lived experiences of the camp while challenging the dynamics of researcher and researched by bringing residents, volunteers, and even riot police ‘into play’, facilitating an intimate access to the camp.
