Website. An operatic audio walk which the audience downloads from a specially created website (www.andwhilelondonburns.com), undertaking a guided walk which combines a full score and tale narrated by film actor Douglas Hodge.

It featured on television – a 4-minute item on ‘Six O'Clock News' (BBC1), on ‘London Tonight' (ITV, 9 January 2007), and a similar length piece on ‘Newsnight' (BBC2, 20 February 2007). It was also covered on radio, websites and in several magazines. Together with the 3,500 downloads this media coverage illustrated how the research aim of broadening the audience for the work has been extremely successful.
