Abstract or Description

A book functioning as an overview of 3 interrelated video works - Carlton, Louis Ghost Chair and UR Feeling.

Three individual pieces that form a 'sort of' trilogy, Carlton looking at a single cultural artefact, the Carlton bookcase designed by Ettore Sottsass, Louis Ghost Chair, taking in Philippe Starck by way of Donald Judd and UR Feeling, doing away with objects altogether to contemplate reflect upon the environment and affect.

Published by Film and Video Umbrella who commissioned Louis Ghost Chair and Elena Hill the book contains images and text relating to all three works. Includes introductions from FVU's Stephan Bode and Elena Hill and essays from Dan Fox, writer, record-label founder and Co Editor of Frieze, Melissa Gronlund Writer and Neil Mulholland writer and Chair of Contemporary Art Practice & Theory Edinburgh College of Art.
