Abstract or Description

This essay broaches a new interpretation of the painting of the important Polish artist Władysław Strzemiński through the concept of the gaze in the psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan and the idea of rhythm from Gilles Deleuze. Methodologically, the aim is to combine historical and theoretical approaches.
