Abstract or Description

This Project comprises a book of Furse's 4 Hysteria playtexts - all of which have been performed in public and some internationally - embedded in contextualising theoretical essays. The book is to be published by Routledge in January 2020. The latest text SHOCKS - Furse's work on the male hysteria of shell-shock in WW1 included in this anthology is also captured in this Project as a video and photographic archive of the production.
