Rachel Reupke's newly conceived work Questionnaire is a delicate and awkward movement between diagnosis, dysfunction and normativity. The video brings together two silhouettes, filled with the rippling water of a stream and set against a patterned fabric. At times, the video "drifts off" into a close-up of a roaming bumble bee. The questions have the neutrality of the standardized questionnaire whilst also being “leaky,” containing implications around the good, the permissible, the undesirable and the impermissible – read across mess and order, concentration and distraction, (over)consumption, (self)control and promiscuity.
