Abstract or Description:

This was an exhibition of retro psychedelic posters from gigs at Goldsmiths featuring giants of rock Deep Purple, Love and many more. Sounds of the summer of love and protest pictures transported viewers back to a time when some of the biggest names in rock and folk played at Goldsmiths and Student Unions across London. The exhibition included rarely seen gig posters from the late 60s and early 70s, alongside photographs by David Bracher documenting student life at Goldsmiths, and historical artefacts and ephemera providing insights into the personal experiences and stories of Goldsmiths students at a time of unprecedented political and intergenerational change.
