Abstract or Description

This interactive online map, hosted by the Historypin platform, documents sixty-two individuals, men, women and children, who lost their life while attempting to save another. They are commemorated on the Watts Memorial to Heroic Self Sacrifice in Postman's Park, London. Users of the map layer are able to 'pin' their own information, memories, and documents to the map, which will ultimately create an additional crowdsourced database.
