Abstract or Description

A presentation of the Polish New wave that never happened due to a range of factors from censorship and repression to voluntary exile. Nevertheless, the chapter presents the concept of the Polish new wave as a counter historiography and way of reading works of Polanski, Skolimowski, Borowczyk and Zulawski.
