Abstract or Description

Joseph Noonan-Ganley writes of the experience of sharing beds within the narrative of Piers Paul Read’s non-fiction novel Alive. Noonan-Ganley attempts to bridge the gap with his readers by carving out a space for them in a text that is already written. Read’s account of the players’ survival through acts of material creation become Noonan-Ganley’s bed-making as a structure of living.
