This combined report presents the combined findings of three different instruments used to map the learning needs and expectation of the EUNIC network members’ in what concerned the implementation of a cultural relations approach, seeking also to determine the stage of development of the network as a social learning space.

The instruments used were: a pilot questionnaire applied to 24 individuals attending the EUNIC Regional Seminar Sub-Saharan Africa, that took place in Nairobi, Kenya, in February 2023 (report of full results in Annex 1), a Google Forms survey fielded during July 2023 and collecting 83 responses (report of full results available in Annex 2) and 30 interviews with selected individuals conducted during the summer of 2023 to further develop and contextualise the previous results (report on interviews by category in Annex 3). The individuals reached, through those instruments, included EUNIC Focal Points at members’ headquarters, EUNIC Clusters’ key representatives, European Spaces of Culture project leads from the EUNIC side, participants in the Climate Culture(s) Creative Lab, and EU Delegations’ Culture Focal Points.
