Abstract or Description
This workshop focused on recognising and transforming visual patterns in response to images of artistic collectives, which inspired new possibilities and performative paths for how to visualise collective endeavours.
Participants were invited to talk, write, draw, perform and think together, as a way to create a dossier of experiences shedding light on the wide range of exclusions, omissions and othering involved in historization of collaborative and collective work. Group work was inspired by the question: Can we imagine collective structures in art, which do not exclude, belittle or ignore affective and reproductive labour?
