Abstract or Description

A planning day and four workshops with HIV support groups Red Ribbon Living Well. Aims: based on groups wants and needs, and following an assessment of current skill levels, the workshops introduced members to machine sewing (one of the group, a skilled dress maker, acted as lead instructor). This activity was supplemented by a series of hand sewing projects designed to build skills in this area also.

The workshops are the first part of a more extensive project and will lead to a publication and exhibition.
