Step into the world of Temple Pictures where the Hollywood studio system meets a forgotten hinterland filled with dreamers who exist at the fringes of the movie industry. Here, celluloid fantasy clings to desperate realism and certainty dissolves into a hallucinatory world, while the tragic tale of Buchner’s Woyzeck echoes through the corridors.”

This was a Punchdrunk project directed by Felix Barrett and Maxine Doyle in collaboration with the company and the Royal National Theatre. On this project Alexa Reid collaborated as a Design Assistant working in a small team to develop the dramaturgy through the scenographic ‘fine detail’ across this vast promenade performance developed at a multi-storey former Royal Mail sorting office, set within the fictional "Temple Pictures", “covering 200,000 sq. ft., catering for up to 600 audience members per show.
