Exhibition of a framed print of ‘Somewhere Around Here’ at the Royal Institute for British Architects (RIBA).

The image is a digitally rendered replica of a Google Streetview screenshot, which in turn is constructed from a series of photographs taken from the rooftop of a car of a mundane side street in Stratford, London. It explores questions of place and value, as the scene finds itself slightly altered each time it moves across the interface.

The exhibition was part of an Article 25 ‘10x’10’ charity art auction, which asked 100 artists was to look deeper into lives, community interactions and the separation between Stratford and its surroundings, examining the legacy left by the promises of the Olympics.
