Abstract or Description

A panel discussion on Creative Resistance for Feminist Survival. We will discuss and see art as a political tool in action. How can we think about creativity as a strategy for survival, resistance, and resurgence as we gesture towards feminist racial justice?

This event will bring together Jason Kattenhorn from Sassify Zine, artist and scholar Dr Sonya Dyer, and musician Fran Barrett to reflect on the role of creativity in organising for feminist racial justice. It will also feature a live performance from Irish musicians and dancers Fran Barrett and Jess Collins.
