What you hold here is a gathering, a small selection, drawn from an effort to chart the un-chartable as by their very dynamic nature alternative art schools are always in flux—shifting across spaces, places, and people, both local and global. A small extract from a study of alternative art pedagogies, created over eight years. A visual map of places, schools, and times that moves beyond mere capturing or inscribing order and meaning. It tests non-hierarchical and unfixed narratives, incorporating speculations and propositions that acknowledge complexity and multiplicity.
