Abstract or Description

This text was commissioned to respond to philosopher Pierre Klossowski's rewriting of the Diana myth and themes of reifiction in relation both to the Milan based gallery Diana and Sophie Jung's exhibition 'Reifiction'. The first half of the text is written by Cedric Fauq, chief curator at Capc Musée d'art contemporain de Bordeaux, and the second by myself. The title plays on 'reh', the German word for stag, and reification, the stag and the gaze in the Diana myth and using the instability of language to challenge reified concepts.
