Abstract or Description

Making connections between cultural identity and belonging in respect to the role of African and Caribbean hairdressers in urban city spaces. Realising the materialities of Black hairdressing case studied in Deptford, London. In comparison with a unique initiative in Cornwall and the first black hairdressers from the African diaspora that has been established in Truro.
