Abstract or Description
This chapter is part of a book that sums up the research undertaken by the UNCHARTED consortium. It outlines five critical factors that have an impact on Cultural Valuation in Europe in recent decades. These include rising diversity, globalisation and digitisation, urban transformations, the development of cultural policy and neoliberalism. Understanding, Fostering and Capturing the Societal Values of Culture (UNCHARTED) was supported by Horizon 2020 Framework Programme [grant number: Grant Agreement 870793].
