This exhibition at Carlos Ishikawa gallery was the second showing of the installation titled 'Today’s gift is tomorrow’s commodity. Yesterday’s commodity is tomorrow’s found art object. Today’s art object is tomorrow’s junk. And yesterday’s junk is tomorrow’s heirloom.'

The installation was reconfigured for the gallery space, with the large shipping crates that form the basis of the installation, angled diagonally across the gallery space and amplifying the sculptural qualities of the crates themselves, as well as their formal relationship to Minimalist practice (Donald Judd, Robert Morris)

Alongside the installation a new exhibition booklet was produced that contained installation documentation, research photographs and texts written in response to the installation. These included re-edited texts originally produced for the first showing of the installation at Brighton CCA by academics Nina Wakeford (Professor of Fine Art, Goldsmiths) and Annebella Pollen (Professor of Visual and Material Culture, Brighton); as well as 2 new texts by the artists (Lloyd Corporation) and a new text by artist Billy Aston Myatt Beard.
