The Cathartic Collective (CC) is a multidisciplinary team of artists and designers in South East London, creating slow fashion, jewellery, and unique handmade items.

Known affectionately as "CC," the group has convened on a weekly basis since January 2022 to create, learn, and collaborate using a diverse array of mediums, including knitting, beading, patchworking, 3D printing, and more.

Our CC meet-ups vary each week, attracting between three to thirteen people from our community networks. Bee, George, and Taylor are the co-founders, each playing a key role in fostering the collaborative ethos and tone that defines our gatherings.

Each session ranges from casual chats to in-depth discussions on current cultural events, politics, societal movements, and the challenging landscapes we navigate. But most importantly, CC thrives on the camaraderie of friendship and the profound impact of support, creativity, and healing that emerges from our collective endeavour.

We believe this synergy not only enriches our collective, but also inspires us to continuously expand these practices and benefits outward, fostering creation and healing within our local communities and individual cultures through diverse ways and ideas.
