Abstract or Description: |
SIXTY SIX SIGNS OF NEON is a series of unique performances incorporating live transmissions from remote sites, utilising video projection, live camera feeds, actors, dancers, musicians and live vision mixing. Duration variable 15-30 minutes. Critically, the work explores and negotiates the instability of the projected image and live presence. This is seen through a series of scenarios that literally play alongside each other, not unlike watching several time-lines at once, through overlaying, masking, vision mixing, text, voice and music. Each scenario is played out to its own end through the duration of an on-going series of live events. |
