Abstract or Description

As a collective of artist art psychotherapists called Winnicott Wednesdays, we were excited to be asked to respond to the publication of Winnicott’s Collected Works in January 2017. The request prompted us to think afresh about our group title and it's meaning to us. In this article we brought together our visual responses to the writing and theories of Winnicott in the form of a series of artworks. Over this process we became aware of the influence of Winnicott's work on us as art psychotherapists, artists and beings.
