Moving image displayed on a plasma screen with audio on headphones. Mounted on the wall accompanied by a wall text to be read in conjunction with the moving image.
Moving image consists of a scene from Roberto Rosellini's Journey to Italy (1954), where the couple are shown the view of the Sorrento peninsula from the terrace of the house.
The installation is displayed by a window of the Villa Croce Museum of Contemporary Art, Genoa with a view out to the city and sea.
Documentation of Terrace 2012 in situ (Villa Croce) will be featured on DVD published in a limited edition box set of 13 DVDs by Mousse Publishing, Italy.
