Abstract or Description

The financial performance of individual films is often reported, but less attention is paid to the finances of the companies that make, sell and distribute them. Yet without these businesses UK film would cease to exist. In order to inform public policy and private practice, the UK Film Council commissioned Northern Alliance to analyse the financial results of 73 companies that produced and distributed the most successful UK films in the years 2006- 2008.
