Abstract or Description

Holly Rogers is a professor in the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her interests as a researcher involve the interactions of music and sound with images and spatiality in experimental films, documentaries, videoarts, music videos, games, contemporary visual arts and interactive installations, including the fields of architecture and literature. An important part of her research and teaching focuses on the realms of intermediality, performance, sound immersiveness and new media and digital platforms. In recent years, she has released important works to understand the history and theory of sound and music in the 20th century and contemporaneity.
