Performance
Creators: Freed, Moss
Abstract or Description:

'Post Jazz' quartet Let Spin toured the UK between Nov 2022 - Mar 2023 performing two of my compositions – 'North Sea Swim' and 'Theremin Gong Bath' – in most performances alongside several other older compositions of mine. These performances feed into my research on composing for improvisers; sociological and psychological aspects of group improvisation; and the role(s) of ensemble microtraditions in these contexts.

Further one-off dates containing these pieces are also included here. The video shows the group's Manchester performance of 05/12/22
