Abstract or Description

The languages that children are surrounded by as they grow up are a vital part of their emerging identity. In our book 'Multilingual Digital Storytelling' (see review on page 52) , Jim Anderson and I wrote that stories enable us to better understand the familiar, but also make connections to the unknown.
