Abstract or Description

This presentation explores bodily interaction in vocal performance, taking my own practice as a point of departure. It argues for an ecology of bodies that emerges at the intersection of the "performer’s body, the instrumental body, the body of the audience, the architectural body and, crucially, the sonic body that emerges from their interplay.” [Tahiroğlu, Tanaka, Parkinson, Magnusson, Garrelfs, Musical Instrument as a curiosity probe. In: currently in 2nd in peer review stage, Organised Sound].
