Abstract or Description: | In 2023-24 Centre for Arts and Learning is focusing on Arts Economies as the central research theme. Events are inviting in speakers who connect with concepts and experiences of creative economies, to discuss the relation of their practice research to economic factors. The Arts Economies Project aims to develop this research in finding out about the eco-systems and motivational practices of artist educators, artists who connect with learning processes, and creative professionals. The principle researcher Dr Miranda Matthews is inviting alumni, artists and educators to share their stories of practice development, and interactions with arts economies. Arts Economies Project intends to find out how artists, artist educators and creative professionals are experiencing making productive inroads into the creative industries. The participants' current experiences will input to research that aims to support current and future generations of artists, educators and researchers in their creative and professional practices. |
