Abstract or Description

In this edited book, Aminul Hoque contributes a chapter that explores the back-story of the British TV chef and celebrity - Nadiya Hussain. Specifically, there is a focus on Hussain's battle with mental health, her social justice campaigns against Islamophobia and racism. The chapter argues that Hussain should be championed as a role model and educator to many millions of people around the world who suffer from mental health and experience everyday racism and Islamophobia.
